He was born in Anagni in 1906 and he spent all his life there till his death in 2003. On the top of this medieval town, full of little squares, picturesque lanes, just next of he wonderful cathedral, it is possible to see his study – museum where the visitor can appreciate some of his sculptures About his art he said: "Art is my life. Look at my works and you’ll know it". He was called the sculptor of the Pope because of many religious sculptures among which the altar-piece in one of the chapels of St Peter’s Church in Rome. He also represented Ciociaria with his art and in Frosinone there is his sculpure in bronze of "La Ciociara", a woman in the traditional costume with "cioce" (traditional shoes) on her feet and the "conca" (a kind of jug) on her head.
